I don’t know who is making design decisions at GoDaddy but they should be fired. The new interface is just horrible to use. I am a customer of GoDaddy for many years so I can compare the interfaces. Everything is taking more time to accomplish than in the past. Domains Priced Right, GoDaddy’s Wild West Domains’ customer front-end site, is close to unusable.
The navigation bar is hard to read and doesn’t become clear until you start scrolling. And the interface logs you out frequently.
Managing domains is also awkward as there is no consistent navigation in the domain control panel. Often if you want to perform different actions on a single domain (i.e. edit Whois, then edit DNS) you have to go back to the domain list and select the same domain again.
It seems as though GoDaddy’s developers are trying to update the interface on top of very old code which makes the end product look and feel very awkward. This is only my observation but the only explanation I can think of. GoDaddy will need to probably do more wholesale changes deep in the code to fix these issues.
